Police regional command center handled a number of 30 cases related to Södermanland County between 22:00 and 07:00.

Assault on a public official, Gnesta
At 23:00, the police were alerted to Gnesta station because a conductor had been kicked by a man who did not have a ticket on the train. The conductor is said not to have suffered any serious injuries, but the man is said to have been aggressive towards several members of the staff. The police arrive at the scene and arrest the man, who is suspected of two counts of assault on a public official. The man is later detained during the night.

Preliminary investigation for gross theft, Eskilstuna
At 03:40, the police were alerted by a camera alarm from a fenced area in Eskilstuna, where unauthorized persons were seen. Within a few minutes, security guards and police arrive. No perpetrator is found, and a report of unauthorized entry is filed. 
Later that night, at 04:30, the police find a man who is suspected of having been in the area. The man, who is in his 40s, is now suspected of preliminary investigation for gross theft.

The police have also handled drug offenses and wildlife accidents, as well as conducted routine checks on their own initiative or in response to public alerts.
