Police were called to Dag Hammarskjöld Square in Jönköping at 03:15 on Friday morning because a man was behaving threateningly towards a security guard. The man had verbally threatened the guard. The man then cycled away. The police patrol found the man, who is in his 60s, and he was taken into custody in accordance with the law on the apprehension of intoxicated individuals (LOB). The man was also arrested for illegal threats and threats against a public official.
Driving under the influence, Jönköping
At 02:00, police were called to a small town in Jönköping Municipality because an A-tractor had driven into a garden fence. No one was injured, but the A-tractor was stuck. The patrol arrived at the scene and took a 15-year-old boy for testing. A report of driving under the influence was filed, and the boy was turned over to his caregivers.
Walking on the motorway, E4
At 22:30, police were called to E4 in Jönköping County, near Ekhagen, because several drivers had noticed that young people were walking on the motorway. When the patrol arrived at the scene, the individuals scattered, and some disappeared. Five young men in their 20s were checked, and they claimed that they were on the motorway because they were trying to take a shortcut. No criminal report was filed.
