The police have taken six people into custody for public intoxication and one person for a narcotics test due to suspicion of a narcotics offense between 00-07.

The police have also carried out several checks on people and vehicles that have not resulted in any crime suspicions.

00:12 Traffic accident, Örnsköldsvik
A report of a single-vehicle accident in Bjästa is received. A man in his 20s is said to have driven an A-tractor into a lamppost. The driver lacks a driver's license and suspicion of unauthorized driving and unauthorized use of a vehicle is to be drawn up. There is no suspicion of a crime regarding the traffic accident itself.

02:09 Assault, Sollefteå
Information is received that a man was injured in a fall in a staircase at an outdoor establishment in Sollefteå. The man is taken to medical care by ambulance. The police are investigating the incident as aggravated assault and a woman in her 20s is arrested. An interrogation is held and the prosecutor decides to have her detained.

03:21 Assault, Sundsvall
The police go to a hotel in central Sundsvall due to reports of assault. A man in his 30s is arrested suspected of assaulting a woman he has a relationship with. An interrogation is held and the prosecutor decides to have the man detained.

03:57 Robbery, Härnösand
Information is received that a man was injured in a robbery outdoors on Mellanholmen. Unknown perpetrators, one of whom is said to have had a weapon, forced the man to hand over his belongings with violence. The man is taken to medical care by ambulance, there are no reports of serious injuries. The police find no suspects. The case is being investigated as a robbery, there are currently no known suspects.

Yesterday (Saturday) a deceased person was found in a residence in Sundsvall. It is unclear how the person died and since it initially cannot be ruled out that a crime was committed, an investigation into murder has been initiated. The person has not yet been identified. The police have informed the person's relatives who live at the address. There is no suspect in the case at present. No further information can be provided at this time.
