Good morning. During the night between Saturday and Sunday, the regional police headquarters east has handled around 80 cases related to Södermanland County. This has included, among other things, checks on people and vehicles as well as work to create a sense of security. 

01:10, Fire, Eskilstuna 
Police patrol has filed a report of damage by fire after a parked vehicle caught fire in Nyfors. The fire did not spread to another vehicle or buildings. No person is suspected. 

04:10, Break-in, Strängnäs 
Police are called to the area of Oxhagen due to a break-in in a dwelling. One or more perpetrators have been inside the dwelling and taken items from the home. The perpetrators are believed to have entered through a balcony door. When the police arrived at the scene, no person was present. A report of theft through break-in is filed. Crime scene investigation is completed.
