Alarm was received about a single-car accident shortly west of Uppsala, where a driver had driven into a ditch. The police rushed to the scene and found two people, a man and a woman.

The woman stated that she had been beaten by the man, and he was apprehended suspected of assault.

There are no reports that either of the parties involved needed to be taken to hospital.
