During the morning, the police were alerted about a fire in a villa in Bollstabruk, Kramfors municipality. The police have been on the scene together with the rescue service.

One person has died in connection with the fire. The person has not been identified yet. The police have however informed relatives of the person who lives at the address and who is presumed to be the one who died.

A preliminary investigation into arson is underway and investigative measures are being taken. The person is to be identified and the site is cordoned off pending a technical examination. 

There is no suspect at present.
