The patrol is out and driving on RV50 between Mohed and Söderala, in Söderhamn municipality, and decides to stop and check a vehicle.

The driver of the car then chooses not to stop at the police officer's signal and a pursuit begins. Several patrols are ordered to the area to participate in the hunt.

After a few minutes of active pursuit, the patrol loses visual contact with the relevant vehicle.

At 7 pm, the relevant vehicle is found abandoned a few km north of Skog and a dog is called to the scene to search for the driver. A person, a man in his 20s, is found in the area and the person is taken in for control and testing.

A report is filed regarding reckless driving, suspected driving under the influence of narcotics, and not stopping at the police officer's signal, with the man in his 20s as the suspect.
