On E18, near Köping (between service areas 121 and 122), a driver of a passenger car drove into the median strip. The traffic passing the accident site is being affected by ongoing salvage work.

The driver, a woman, does not need medical treatment but is being checked by ambulance personnel on the scene.

According to the driver, she had to brake for an animal on the road and then skidded and drove into the median strip.
