Police are alerted to central Gislaved with initial alarm of an explosion after calls were received about a very loud firecracker. It has been confirmed that it was about fireworks. 

22:27, Alarm about firecrackers, Jönköping
A police operation is started up in central Jönköping due to incoming alarm about firecrackers. Police patrols were on site within a few minutes and were able to confirm that firecrackers had been set off on the spot. It was also possible to check several people who were present at vehicles that had been pointed out in connection with incoming calls to the command center. In order to ensure that nothing else had happened, several investigative measures were carried out on the spot, including thorough checks of people and vehicles. It has been confirmed that it was about fireworks and no one was injured in connection with the incident. Four men in their 20s are suspected of a crime against the public order.
