Police regional command center has handled around 70 cases related to Södermanland County between 22:00-07:00.

Burning container
About 22:00, police are alerted to a fire with open flames in a container in Oxelösund. Rescue services arrive first to extinguish the fire. There are reports suggesting that the fire may have started from some form of firework. The police have filed a report on vandalism through fire. 

Stolen trailer
Around 22:45, an alarm is received about someone being robbed of a trailer loaded with timber at Kjula in Eskilstuna. Police head out to interview the victim and then file a report on serious theft. Shortly after 00:30, information is received that the stolen trailer has been found. No person suspected of committing the crime has been found.

Drunk driving in Eskilstuna
At midnight, police receive an alarm about a reckless driver in the northern parts of central Eskilstuna. According to reports, a driver has occasionally driven on the wrong side of the road. Police head out and stop the driver to conduct a check. In connection with this, suspicions arise of drunk driving and minor drug offenses. The driver, a woman in her 45s, was taken by police patrol from the scene for further testing. 

Stone throwing at car
02:30, information is received that someone has had stones thrown at their car in Nyfors in Eskilstuna. Police have been on the scene to interview and take a report. The incident is classified as vandalism.

Police have also handled numerous cases related to fireworks and made various routine checks on their own initiative or after receiving alarms from the public.
