Police alarm sounded in Laröd due to a 17-year-old boy being shot with firecrackers by a number of unknown individuals.

No perpetrator remains on the scene when the police arrive.

The incident is said to have occurred outdoors near a grocery store.

A report of assault is drawn up. No ambulance is required.

The police are clear on the scene.
