Object examination.
Rescue services respond to a fire alarm at Sandgatan in central Falkenberg. Upon arrival, the source of the alarm is identified as an object fastened to a lamppost. The police are alerted to the scene and a decision is made to cordon off the area around the lamppost to investigate the object further. Quite quickly, the police can determine that there is no danger to the public. The source of the noise initially suspected to be a fire alarm is found to be someone unplugging the power to the lamppost. The purpose of this appears to have been to charge a mobile phone. As a result, the device has started making noise.
