Complaints are received from homeowners who suspect they have been burgled two nights in a row.

The only thing that appears to have been taken is the contents of a chocolate box of a well-known brand.

On the first night, the top layer was missing, on the second night, the bottom layer was missing.

A police patrol is heading to the scene to take a report and inspect the crime scene.

There is concern that someone may have access to the keys to the dwelling.

During the conversation, a rat nest is discovered near the location of the chocolate box.

It cannot be confirmed that rats ate the chocolate, but the homeowner declines to make a report of the crime.
