An emergency call comes in via a private car, a so-called eCall, to SOS regarding a traffic accident on county road 731 (Norrkämstaleden) in Ljusdal.

The rescue service reports that it is a single-vehicle accident where the private car has driven into some form of concrete wall. The road is closed to traffic in both directions.

Two people, a man and a woman in their 18-year age range, are involved in the accident.

The woman, who is a passenger, is checked on the scene by ambulance personnel, but does not want to go to the hospital. The man, who was driving the car, is taken to the hospital by ambulance.

After the man is checked at the hospital, it shows that he is severely intoxicated and he is therefore suspected of gross drunk driving, gross negligence in traffic and causing bodily harm.
