The police are ordered to an address in connection with a suspected assault in a dwelling.

A man is reported to have injured people at the address. The man is said to have had some form of weapon.

In connection with the police arresting the man, who is in his 20s, a situation arises that leads to the police shooting at him with live ammunition. He dies.

A woman in her 50s is found dead at the address. Two more people are taken to hospital with unclear injury status.

Relatives of those involved are informed.

The incident is being investigated, among other things, as murder and attempted murder. The police are working with initial investigation measures. Information is being gathered, interviews are being held, and a crime scene investigation is to be carried out. A cordon is in place around the relevant property.

The police do not consider the incident to pose any danger to the public and there is no further suspect.

According to initial reports, the suspected perpetrator had no known relationship to the people who were present at the address. This will be investigated further.

The police would like tips and observations that can be linked to the incident in the Sanden area over the past 24 hours. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police on 114 14.

When the police use live ammunition (fire shots at a person), an investigation is always initiated. This is led by the Department for Special Investigations (SU).
