Some minutes before 1:00 pm, the police were alerted by the public after someone was seen jumping in through a window at an address in Old Villastaden in Nyköping.

Police rush to the area and soon gain control of a man who matches the description given by the caller. After this, the police have been inside the current residence and conducted an initial inspection. They have also held an interview with the victim and witnesses.

The man, who is in his mid-30s, is arrested on suspicion of theft through burglary. Exactly what was taken is currently unclear.
