Here follow a selection of the night's events:

01.25 Wildlife Accident, Övertorneå:
Accident with a truck and a reindeer on county road 398 between Hedenäset and Lappträsk. No personal injuries reported. The reindeer died in connection with the accident and the affected Sami community has been informed.

05.11 Traffic Control Luleå:
About 50 drivers on Älvbrovägen, Bergnäset, are checked and are sober.

05.14 Traffic Control, Boden:
Ten drivers on Lulevägen in central Boden are checked and are sober.

06.16 Traffic Control, Piteå:
At a traffic control on Källbogatan in central Piteå, two drivers are given an order to pay a fine for driving vehicles that are banned from the road.

06.39 Wildlife Accident, Luleå:
Accident with a truck and a deer on road 760, Böle. No personal injuries reported. The deer died in connection with the accident and a hunting guide is called out to take care of it.

06.40 Wildlife Accident, Överkalix:
Accident with a car and three reindeer on E10, Räktfors. No personal injuries reported. One of the reindeer died in connection with the accident. It is unclear what happened to the other two. The affected Sami community has been informed.

06.52 Wildlife Accident, Luleå:
Accident with a car and a deer on Sörforsvägen, Råneå. No personal injuries reported. It is unclear what happened to the deer and a hunting guide is called out.

Other:
Police have also carried out checks of people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of a crime.
