The police receive an alarm about a traffic accident between two passenger cars on E16 in Hofors. Rescue services, ambulance, and police patrol are alerted to the scene where it appears that a passenger car collided with a minibus.

The driver of the passenger car is transported by ambulance to the hospital with unclear injury status. Accessibility is limited during the rescue operation and both cars need to be towed from the scene.

There are currently no reports that the people in the minibus needed to seek medical care in connection with the incident.

The cause of the accident will be investigated.
