Man had to seek medical care after a fight
22:40, a police patrol initiates a case on its own initiative after some kind of fight occurred in Eskilstuna city centre. A man is apprehended for intoxication and taken to hospital after having injured his head. A report is filed regarding assault of a normal degree. No other person has been detained as a result of the incident. 

Two to hospital after a fight on the square
23:54, police patrols head to Stortorget in Katrineholm after information about an ongoing fight has been received. According to initial reports, someone who was lying on the ground at the time was kicked. Two people are taken to hospital as a result of the incident. A 20-year-old man is apprehended by the police for intoxication. The same man is later arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault. The condition of the two affected is unknown. 

Aside from this, the police have handled several alarms about fights and made other routine checks on their own initiative or after alarms from the public.
