Under early afternoon, a traffic accident involving two vehicles occurred on a regional road outside Valdemarsvik. A total of nine people were affected in the accident, which was a collision between a passenger car and a minibus.

Five people were taken to hospital. One of these has injuries of a more serious nature.

They are not life-threatening.

All four other people have been able to leave care, or will be able to do so shortly.

The remaining people involved in the accident have not needed to be taken to hospital but will be checked by care if necessary.

One person has been charged with suspicion of traffic carelessness and bodily harm. It concerns the woman in her 20s who was the driver of the passenger car.
