Today information came in that a man assaulted a woman he is in a relationship with. It is reported to have occurred in a residence in Lycksele municipality.

The man, who is in his 60s, is apprehended. An interrogation is held and the prosecutor decides to detain the man. There are no reports that the woman needed emergency medical care.
