The police regional command center has handled between 22.00-07.00 a number of 70 cases related to Östergötland county.

06:30 SOS alarm about traffic accident on E22:an outside Valdemarsvik. According to the alarm, a driver is said to have driven into two wild boars. The driver, a woman in her 45s, is said to have escaped unscathed. The car has however received sheet metal damage so a wrecker has been ordered. The police are on site since 07.20 to help with traffic direction. Other road users can pass in the overtaking lane. There is no suspicion of a crime. The wild boars are said to have died after the collision.

In addition, the police have had cases of traffic controls, mental health issues, minor wildlife accidents with deer and various other controls on their own initiative or after an alarm from the public that have not led to anything serious.

No more serious violent crimes have come to the police's knowledge.
