Under Friday, a number of accidents related to black ice have occurred, mainly in Småland's highlands, but also in other parts of the county.

The police are issuing a serious warning about black ice to all those who are on the roads, or planning to set out.

• Maintain a distance.
• Black ice is deceptive and invisible, and often appears in patches.
• Adjust your speed to the road conditions - slow down!
• In the event of accidents, respect the rescue work. People are working in a hazardous environment. It's about rescue services, ambulance personnel, police, and salvage workers who need to do their job for your sake.
