Here follows a selection of events from last night:
22:34 Wild animal accident, Sundsvall:
Accident involving a car and a deer on Johannedalsvägen/Sjöfartsvägen, Tunadal. No personal injuries reported. It is unclear what happened to the deer and a tracker is called out.
00:36 Assault, Sundsvall:
Police patrol at a bar in Sundsvall notices a fight between two people. A man is alleged to have hit another. The fight is broken up by police and a security guard. There are no reports of the injured man needing medical care.
An investigation is held and a report is filed regarding the assault.
The suspected man is taken into custody according to the Law on the Temporary Custody of Intoxicated Persons.
02:07 Wild animal accident, Ånge:
Accident involving a car and a deer on E14 between Fränsta and Torpshammar. No personal injuries reported. The deer died in connection with the accident and a tracker is called out to take care of it.
02:11 Violation of the Knife Act, Sundsvall:
During a check of a man outside a bar in Stenstan, a knife and suspected narcotics are found and taken into custody. The man is taken into custody according to the Law on the Temporary Custody of Intoxicated Persons. A report is filed regarding a serious violation of the Knife Act and minor narcotics offense (possession and use).
04:55 Burglary, Sundsvall:
Police patrol is dispatched to a preschool in Nacksta where a burglary alarm has gone off. No suspected perpetrator is found on the scene and it is unclear if anything has been stolen. The scene is documented and a report is filed regarding theft by burglary.
Other:
Aside from the above, one person has been taken into custody for public intoxication and one person has been taken in for testing after suspicion of narcotics offense.
Police have also conducted checks of people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of crime.
