December 13, 06.59, Summary of the night, Jämtland County

Two people in Östersund and one in Vemdalen have been apprehended according to the Law on the Deprivation of Liberty (LOB), the law on the apprehension of intoxicated persons. During the night, the police in Östersund have also taken up a report of harassment as well as a threat against a public official. 

01:45 Vandalism, Härjedalen
Police are dispatched to a hostel in Vemdalen where a drunk man is said to have smashed the interior of a toilet. The man is apprehended according to LOB, the law on the apprehension of intoxicated persons. A report of vandalism is drawn up.

02:52 Assault, Östersund
Police patrols in the city center are alerted to a brawl. It is currently unclear what happened but at least four men are said to have been involved. A report of assault is drawn up. Two people are said to have sought medical attention. No person is detained in the matter.

Other: During the night, three wildlife accidents have been reported to the police. They occurred in central Vemdalen, Härjedalen municipality, on E14/E45 Brunflo, Östersund municipality as well as on E45/länsväg 554 in Hackås, Berg municipality
