The police receive information that a man is assaulting a woman in an apartment in Täby. When the police entered the couple's shared residence, the woman had visible signs of suspected assault, but she was not seriously injured. 
In the interrogation, information about repeated assault came to light, and the man was therefore arrested for severe violation of a woman's freedom. Later that night, he was detained by the prosecutor.
