The police were alerted at 22.10 that a man has been found injured in the Anneberg area of Nässjö municipality.
The man was found by passersby.
The man is stabbed or cut. At present, there are no further details to be disclosed about the injury situation.
A cordon has been set up around the crime scene.
The police have been searching for a perpetrator in the area. The police have used drones, among other things, and stopped and checked a bus and several cars without any comments.
The police have arrested a 30-year-old man who is suspected of causing the man's injuries. The suspected man was arrested between Anneberg and Eksjö, and therefore the police have also closed the road to investigate.
The police are now working to map out the sequence of events, secure evidence, gather witness statements, and interrogate the suspect.
