Police are on the scene in Oskarshamn and searching for a missing person.

A 70-year-old man was at a Christmas party yesterday, and he parted ways at 1:00 am in central Oskarshamn. The man claims he will go home, but never shows up at his home address.

The police now need the public's help to find the man.

Updated 24 December 2022 11:43 The missing man has been found deceased. The man was found in the water in Oceanhamnen in Oskarshamn. There are no suspicions of foul play in connection with the death.

Next of kin have been notified.
