00-07, ten people have been taken into custody for intoxication and one person has been taken in for testing after suspicion of narcotics crime.

The police have also carried out several checks of people and vehicles that have not resulted in any crime suspicion.

Here follows a selection of the night's events:

Between 01-03, four fines were issued in Kramfors regarding disturbing behavior. The reasons were that noise was made on public grounds, including by playing music from vehicles.

02:42 Assault, Sundsvall
Reports are coming in about a fight at a restaurant in Stenstan, Sundsvall. According to initial reports, two people are involved. The police are on their way. No suspect is left on the scene. A complaint will be filed regarding assault and harassment. One person is taken to medical care.

03:33 Fire, Sundsvall
Alarm about a fire in a vehicle in the area of Njurunda is received. The police are on their way to the scene. According to initial reports, the vehicle caught fire due to a leak of gasoline. There is no suspicion of a crime.

03:47 Assault, Örnsköldsvik
Reports of an assault on Rondellplan and then on Strandgatan are coming in. According to initial reports, three men in their 20s are suspected of assaulting a man on Rondellplan. One of the suspected men is found and taken into custody with the support of the law on the detention of intoxicated persons (LOB). Subsequently, reports are coming in about another assault on Strandgatan where the two other suspected men are arrested. The man who is assaulted on Strandgatan is taken to medical care. The three men who are detained are suspected of aggravated assault, two of them in two cases. One of them in one case. The prosecutor has decided to detain the three men.

A wild animal accident has been reported to the police in the morning. There are no reports of personal injuries.

Summary of the police's work during the spontaneous cruise in Kramfors

There was a spontaneous cruise in Kramfors on Saturday evening with a large number of visitors from all of Västernorrland. It lasted between 21 and 03.

Total, 25 fines were issued that are related to the cruise. The majority were issued because high music was played from vehicles, fines were also issued due to unnecessary noise from motor vehicles and due to littering.

A complaint was filed regarding minor narcotics crime, possession.

A complaint was filed regarding alcohol trafficking to minors.

Two minors were taken into custody with the support of the law on the detention of intoxicated persons (LOB) and handed over to social services in anticipation of their guardians.  

At present, no known violent crimes are linked to the cruise.
