Police regional command center has handled between 22.00-07.00 a number of 70 cases related to Jönköping County.

Assault, Eksjö: At 00.00, police are alerted to southern Eksjö due to a disturbance outdoors. On the scene, a man is found who is said to have been assaulted. The man, who is in his 40s, does not however need medical care. Witnesses are also present on the scene who are questioned by police. The man is said to have been assaulted by unknown individuals who left the scene in a car. Police have searched the nearby area without finding a perpetrator. A report of assault has been made.

Violent resistance, Eksjö: At 00.30, police are alerted to Nygatan in Eksjö due to several public order disturbances. According to reports, people are urinating on houses, throwing bottles, and fighting. There are also reports that someone has been hit. When police arrive at the scene, they find the man who is said to have been hit. He does not however need hospital care. The man, who is in his 40s, is agitated and loud, and is to be taken into custody by police due to disturbing the public order. The man does not cooperate and police use pepper spray, as well as handcuffs and leg restraints. The man is then taken with police to the police station and is now suspected of violent resistance.

Car accident, Jönköping: At 03.00, police are alerted to Ekhagen in Jönköping where a loud bang is heard from a car. It turns out that the car drove into a refuge. There is no suspicion of a crime.
