August 8, 14.18, Traffic accident, Härryda

Alarm has been received via SOS regarding a traffic accident at the intersection Boråsvägen/Säterivägen in Mölnlycke. It is initially unclear if more than one car was involved in the accident. A car is in any case lying on its roof in a dike. Initial report that the car was on fire but it appears to have been extinguished. A person, a man, has been helped out of the vehicle and is now receiving care. He is said to be awake and able to speak. The extent of his injuries is unclear otherwise. Police, fire department and ambulance are on the scene. 

Update 14:38:
The location of the accident is said to be a roundabout and it is described as the car now lying in the middle of the roundabout. The car will need to be towed and police are now working to direct traffic on the scene. 

Update 14:42:
The driver is being taken to hospital by ambulance. No update on the extent of injuries beyond being awake and able to speak.
