Police alarm is sounded to a smaller town in Helsingborg municipality where a person has received cut and stab wounds in the arm. The incident occurs in a multi-family house and the injured party is taken to hospital by ambulance and the police immediately start working to try to locate the suspected perpetrator. A man in his 40s is arrested at 10:38 suspected of attempted murder and the suspected crime scene is cordoned off pending technical examination. Door-to-door inquiries are conducted to obtain any witness statements.
