August 6, 18.46, Traffic accident, infection from, Örkelljunga

The alarm is raised about a collision between a truck and a motorcycle on the motorway. Police, ambulance, and rescue team are called to the scene and there they find a motorcycle with a rider who has fallen off. 

The rider is taken to hospital by ambulance with the extent of the injuries unclear. 

Police are investigating the circumstances of the accident. Traffic is stopped for southbound traffic. 

Update: Police are requesting witnesses to the accident that occurred on E4 shortly before 18:46, between Skånes Fagerhult and Åsljunga.

Update: One lane is open and the motorcycle is taken into custody for examination. The road is open and the police are clear on the scene.

Update: Several calls about witness statements are received and the patrol will prepare a report on fleeing the traffic accident and reckless driving in traffic.
