15:11 Police were alerted to a store in central Nyköping due to an order guard intervening against a man who had stolen goods. When the man was confronted by the order guard, a tumult is said to have occurred before the order guard gained control of the situation.

15:19 Police patrol on the scene.

16:20 The man, in his 50s, has been arrested by the police for theft of two perfumes in a store, theft of medication in another store, as well as violent resistance against the order guard. The value of the stolen goods is said to have been over 4000 kronor.
