A car is driving into a red light, recklessly, and is close to crashing in central Helsingborg with many people moving around. When the patrol arrives on the scene to stop the car, the driver runs into the police officer and in connection with this, the police officer fires his service weapon. The police officer is initially hit with minor injuries.

The car disappears at high speed from the scene but can be found and three people are detained on suspicion of attempted murder.

At present, there are no reports of anyone being injured in the shooting.

The incident with the police officer firing his service weapon will be investigated by the Department for Special Investigations (SU) and no questions will be answered about the incident.
