August 31, 17.53, Found dead, Västerås

The police have had a larger operation in Norrbo in the northern parts of Västerås municipality during the evening. A relative of a man in his 80s reported at 6 pm that the man could not be reached and he was feared to be out in the forest.

In the search, participating were riot police, dog handlers as well as a helicopter.

At 8:30 pm, the man was located deceased in the forest by the helicopter. Relatives have been informed. There is no suspicion of a crime.
