During the morning, the police are informed of an assault that is said to have taken place in a residence in the southern parts of Linköping city. There, a man is said to have punched and kicked a woman he has a close relationship with.

The police have taken themselves to the address during the morning, arrested the man for assault and documented the injuries. The affected woman is not said to be seriously injured.

The man, who is in his 30s, has been detained by the prosecutor.
