During the night, a 45-year-old man was arrested in a town in Örnsköldsviks municipality. He is suspected of having assaulted a woman he knows. The prosecutor has decided to detain the man suspected of gross assault.

A speeding offense was reported from a control that was carried out in Matfors. The speed was measured at 83 kilometers per hour on a 40-mile stretch. The driver's license was seized.

Police go to a village south of Sundsvall due to reports of a man being assaulted outside a community center. There is no known suspect. A report of assault is to be drawn up.

Reports come in that a man was assaulted by a person with a blunt instrument. The incident occurred on a pub's outdoor area in central Sundsvall. The assaulted man is taken to medical care, he is awake and able to speak, and according to available information, it is not a life-threatening injury. Police go there and talk to him, and also go to the pub where information is collected from witnesses and a crime scene investigation is carried out. No suspect is found. A report of gross assault and causing bodily harm is drawn up.

According to initial reports, a quad bike drove into a ditch in Örnsköldsvik. The driver, a 40-year-old man, is suspected of gross reckless driving. Blood sampling is carried out, and a report is to be drawn up.
