Police alarm was raised in the morning to residents in Götene following a report that a person was stabbed with a sharp object. Both the victim and the suspect live at the residence. The police have been on the scene and arrested a woman in her mid-twenties who is suspected of attempted murder, alternatively gross assault. The arrest went smoothly. The injured person is a man in his upper teenage years who was taken to hospital by ambulance. He is said to have been awake and able to speak at the time. The area is cordoned off and a technical investigation will be conducted.
