Reports have come in about a 70-year-old man being targeted by a scam. The man had received an SMS from someone claiming to be from a bank, he was then encouraged to call a number and was subsequently swindled out of money. 

The police were dispatched to the scene and a report of fraud was filed.

In order to avoid falling victim to a scam, one should never let unknown individuals into the home, nor should one reveal codes or other sensitive information to an unknown party.
