The police have handled a captured cobra in Varberg municipality during the evening. The snake is considered to be found property and the police are now searching for its owner.  Questions have been asked by the media during the evening about how long it is, its sex etc.

Update:

The snake is as previously reported a cobra.  We can now also report that it is a female, 140 cm long and weighs 2.3 kilograms.  We have not yet been in contact with the snake's owner.
