Reports came in about a caller who had been the victim of a break-in in their car. The perpetrator had smashed a window and then run from the scene.

The police were dispatched and were able to locate the perpetrator, a 65-year-old man, with the help of witness statements. The man was apprehended on suspicion of theft and was detained after contact with the prosecutor.
