The police's regional command center has handled between 22.00-07.00 a hundred cases related to Östergötland County.

22:38 Police were alerted to a residence in Kinda municipality due to a man allegedly having drunk alcohol and assaulted his wife. Three children are also believed to be at the address and allegedly witnessed this. When police arrived at the scene, the man, in his mid-30s, was apprehended, suspected of assault. He has also been detained by the prosecutor overnight. No one required ambulance care in this matter. 

In addition, the police have had cases of drunkenness, traffic offenses, wildlife accidents, as well as various checks on their own initiative or after public alarm that did not lead to anything serious.

No more serious violent crimes have come to the police's knowledge.
