22:48 The police were alerted to an address in Aneby due to an assault outside a garden. A woman in her mid-30s is alleged to have struck two people with a blunt object. When the police arrived at the scene, the woman was apprehended on suspicion of aggravated assault. She has also been detained by the prosecutor during the night on probable grounds for aggravated assault. The victims, a boy and a girl in their upper teens, did not require ambulance care but had pain and some redness.
It was chaotic in Aneby on Saturday evening and night due to cruising. The police handled a disturbance at the Coop parking lot around 01:50. There was a high level of intoxication and a chaotic environment overall. Residents in the area also contacted the police and expressed dissatisfaction with partying, high music, passengers who got out of cars to vomit, and young people who urinated on private property and public areas. The police worked at a high tempo and tried to get parents to pick up their children.
02:13 In connection with a routine vehicle and driver check on Jönköping Road in Värnamo, suspicion of drunk driving arose against the driver. The man in his 40s was taken by the police for further blood sampling and questioning.
