Police and ambulance are called to Märsta after an alarm is raised that a child has been hit by a driver in a car.

Witnesses report that the child is hit when passing a pedestrian crossing.

The child, who is three years old, is examined by ambulance personnel on the scene and is not considered to be seriously injured.

The driver of the car is questioned on the scene. The driver tested negative in the police's breathalyzer.

A report of causing bodily harm and negligence in traffic is drawn up.
