Police alarm to Sofielund where an object was thrown through a window in an apartment and exploded. No person was physically injured. The police cordon off the apartment and the national bomb squad is called together with technicians to the scene. A man in his late teens is arrested as suspected and is after a decision by the prosecutor detained.

An interrogation is held with the residents of the apartment and the police knock on doors in the area to get any possible witness statements. The case is being investigated as an attempted murder and a crime against the law on flammable and explosive substances. The technical investigation is complete and the police have left the scene.
