An older woman living in Nyköping municipality was called by someone in the morning who claimed to be from the police. The person said that there had been a break-in in the area and wanted to know what valuable items the woman had at home. When the woman said she didn't have any, the person hung up the phone.

If you receive a similar call, it is about fraud.
This is a method that is previously known to the police and which comes  periodically. Note that the police never contact people by phone to inventory personal belongings. 

If you receive calls from someone you don't know, hang up the phone!
