Police were informed in the morning about a person who did not seem to be well on Kungsgatan in Norrköping.

The man is said to have behaved abnormally and had a sharp object with him. Police arrived at the scene and were able to stop the man within a few minutes. In connection with the intervention, traffic was temporarily halted. 

The man has been taken into custody in accordance with the law on psychiatric compulsory care. He will be suspected of aggravated crime against the knife law.
