Good morning. During the night between Friday and Saturday, the police's regional command center handled a hundred cases related to Södermanland County. This has included, among other things, the apprehension of intoxicated individuals, assistance from other emergency services, and checks of people and vehicles in a security-creating sense. 

00:44 Attempted robbery, Strängnäs
An application for attempted robbery and assault has been made after an incident in Åkers Styckebruk outside Strängnäs. A person is said to have been attacked by several others. The man is said to have been subjected to assault and the perpetrators are said to have tried to get hold of personal belongings but did not manage to get anything. The affected man was not seriously injured. No one has been arrested as a suspect.

00:51, Assault, Eskilstuna municipality
A man has been arrested and subsequently detained by the prosecutor. The man is in his 20s and suspected of assault in relation. The case is led by the prosecutor and the police's press spokesperson has no more information to provide at this time. 

01:43 - Attempted theft, Eskilstuna
The police were alerted to the area of Folkesta due to a person being observed inside a company.  The police were able to locate and check people a short distance from the scene. One of these is suspected of attempted theft. It involves a man in his 55s. 

05:55, Traffic accident, Nyköping
A single-vehicle accident occurred on E4 at Svärta. The vehicle had a tire explosion and drove into the median strip. No one was injured.
