17:5 police, ambulance and fire department are alerted to a multi-family house on Kungsgatan in Linköping's city center. According to the caller, black smoke is billowing out of one of the apartments. Police are on the scene with several units at the fire site. At present, it is unclear if any people have been injured.

Update 18:26: A person has been taken to hospital in an ambulance. The extent of the damage to the injured person is currently unknown. The police's work to determine what happened is continuing at the scene. 

Update 18:35: The fire should now be extinguished. The police have carried out several person checks and are talking to any potential witnesses near the fire site.
